Uso de energ\u00eda en el \u00faltimo per\u00edodo de aprox. 22,5 horas revelaron una reducci\u00f3n del uso de KWH del 40% en la habitaci\u00f3n recubierta. Las \u00faltimas lecturas muestran el aula ThermaCote en 129 KWH, y el aula sin recubrimiento en 202 KWH. Esto se calcula en una reducci\u00f3n del 36,1% en el consumo de electricidad para el aire acondicionado en la sala recubierta en lugar del uso en la sala de control. Cabe se\u00f1alar que esta instalaci\u00f3n ya ten\u00eda un revestimiento de techo de color claro. La aplicaci\u00f3n de este material a los techos oscuros o la parte inferior de la cubierta del techo con tejas oscuras producir\u00eda resultados a\u00fan m\u00e1s dram\u00e1ticos. Adem\u00e1s, ThermaCote tiene una reflectividad solar .83 establecida por el Cool Roof Rating Counsel.
